Many thanks.]   Bluestocking Lounge Brings Burlesque To Swansea!     Burlesque’s glittering revival has been sweeping the UK faster than famous 1930s fan dancer Sally Rand switched her ostrich plumes and now it finally arrives in Swansea, courtesy of Bluestocking Lounge (formerly Cabaret Rouge Cymru), May 13.   With the near-sell out success of Cabaret Rouge Cymru’s night of classic burlesque in Carmarthen in February, the (all-female!) team behind the show are bringing classic burlesque and alternative comedy to a regular home in Swansea’s Monkey Café. With a brand-new name, inspired by a historical collective of erudite ladies, the Bluestocking Lounge will be bringing some of the country’s biggest names and rising stars on the burlesque and alternative cabaret circuit right here to Swansea.               Tickets are priced £8.50 for this seated event (£10 on the door), available from Hobos and www.bluestockinglounge.com.
